MemberOvomorphMar-17-2012 2:32 AMepic...just epic im on cloud nine and you guys are all here with me. i need some ideas some input raw and fresh, with the trailer burnt into your minds tell me the things shown in this new treasure that get your gears going. Keep it simple and not too long since im sure there will be 100s of new posts about this trailer later today. Im interested in your initial reactions to certain scenes, what speaks to you the most and which ones seem to give you some tingles maybe an "OH! OH! OH!" moment if you must.

MemberOvomorphMar-17-2012 2:41 AMDear CantSpaceJockTheRock,
allow me to start this epic discussion off by saying that i havent been this jacked since the Wings won back to back in 96-97!
I think the most epic scene of the trailer is Shaw peering through the medbay doors? and seeing the clearly "alien" like tail swipe the glass. I love the original alien and want so so so so bad for something thats obviously a Progenitor of the Xeno we all know. Im not saying make them look the same but i want to see it and get chills, tingles and a raging boner knowing...thats it..thats the Xeno!

Hola CSJTR,
There are several "disturbing" pieces of footage (0:33 - David, 0:46.5 - Engineer?) but 0:49, that "kind of a portal" caught my eye. What you think?

Yeap, Scidley, you are absolutely right! The scene with the Space Jockey and her or his "biomechanical" suit or components fitting in... is great!

MemberOvomorphMar-17-2012 4:28 AMThe turret is moving down closer to the helmet too.... But the snout is not attached to lower part of his abdomen so I guess they just did not want to show this part of the sequence.
Where did the blue guy go? ah he's in the suit?

MemberOvomorphMar-17-2012 5:16 AMthe million dollar question has been answered :) as ridley scott said a lot of times it was space jockey's biomechanical suit not itself which was found on lv 426
