I found a safe copy of the documentary: The Furious Gods: Making of Prometheus for you guys. It is an incredible documentary for anyone who wants to understand the movie Prometheus.

Nice find... will have to watch it all... I got Prometheus Blue Ray 3D Steel Box but its not even opened, but then so same with my Blue Ray Star Wars and Rambo and Alien Quadalogy, Terminators etc etc... They all still shrink wrapped. lol So i use my DVD version of Prometheus and extras for clues. But this is a nice find as it saves me having to open up my Steel Book now lol

@BigDave; This documentary is one of the best I have ever seen, it's as good as the "Dangerous Days-the making of Blade Runner" one.

My god if u haven't seen all the blu ray stuff -do it! Its probably the best made part or the whole promethues 'show' / stuff. I just assume all the hardcore people here have seen it all :O .

Thanks Svanya, now I can link to this docu from anywhere, without the need for my blu-ray and player. :-) Oh my god Big Dave........you really need to open up that steel book, there's hours upon hours of fantastic content included, that you really should see!!

Thats just me i get stuff and never open them.... Like PS3 and Xbox 360 games stay in wrappers its only when my nephew comes round he will break them in.... I got 3DS and games from 2 years ago still unopened lol..... And amount dvd box sets of movies left untouched lol

LOL understood BigDave. But honestly there's masses of amazing content, including further enhancement pods. Even someone who didn't appreciate the Alien or Prometheus universes would find it fascinating! Go treat yourself! :-D

Only about 20 minutes in but I already have an issue to point out. Damon Lindeloff says that the original Alien film was very frightening but thematically what you see is what you get. Alien was a very thematically rich and interesting film, and I'm not sure how any decent screen writer could miss that. In fact, I think Prometheus was much less subtle and sophisticated in how it expressed its key themes than Alien ever was.

This making-of is, hands-down, the most exhaustive (and sometimes exhausting) of its kind I've ever seen. It was as epic as the movie, and much much longer.

I 've watched the documentary twice now! totally stoked for Paradise! Love the comments at the end about Fans and the internet. One thing I noticed on my second view is a picture behind Ridley Scott in the interview at about 9:05. It's black and white. It looks very similar to the images of Ripleys Daughter in the up coming game Alien Isolation> Coincidence?

@brg; I tried to find it on youtube the other week with no luck. The only vids I could find were like 2-3 minute clips. I'm thinking that the studio (FOX) have had them taken down.

@Necronom 4 thank you for your help!. yeah, i noticed its very hard to find, i was lucky enuf to see it a little after the blueray was out online but dont have a blueray... The Alien "beast within" documentary is still on youtube.. Im sure you have seen these others ones but heres the links.... :)

The doco is Fox property and any versions on Youtube are breaching that copyright, and therefore susceptible to Fox taking them down.

You might need to invest in a Blu-Ray player.

Yes. I'm quite aware of the copyright and intellectual property side of it, just as the deleted scenes and numerous other making of docos that are out there fall under the same act … if it wasn't for fanbases and sites such as this, how else are we supposed to get/share info amongst each other privately?

In this particular instance - until someone re-uploads it to Youtube, buy the blu-ray version of the film, I suppose.
