Prometheus Aliens

So since It seems like that green substance that was found by the explorers/astronauts in the cave that turned out to be a ship. Was the substance that created the xenomorphs. I say this because the first aliens spawned from this substance that came from black jars, then they spawned others aliens and then the xenomorphs. This points to the xenomorphs being biologically engineered.
