Covenant sort of corrects it all. And makes the character of David even more interesting.
Chalk it up to guilty pleasure, or what have you I don't care. I still love the film. Anyone else feel the same?

MemberOvomorphJun-09-2021 8:42 PMCovenant took a leap after Prometheus. In my opinion. Prometheus set up a great journey for Naomi Rapace's character Dr Shaw and David. I felt Covenant should have dealt more with their relationship. Instead it turned into a creature feature that left money on the table. If, BIG if, the franchise continues in the prequel vein, then their relationship can still be salvaged by flashbacks that explain Shaw's sacrifice as a host to David's quest for a new form of life.
