MemberFacehuggerOct-02-2015 6:13 AMSaw the Martian yesterday...i have been disappointed with Ridley films since matchstick men although prometheus was good it was no were near what it could be. But the Martian i must say is very good his best film...well since matchstick men. It's so much more real and believable moments of real connection it's strangely a heart warming film. Even at moments when i felt matt was going to stand up and say "matt Damon" team America style. But still not a mind blowing film as you can imagine after all the subject is what it is. If he can keep that level up for prometheus it will be great and a bit more and it could blow minds...well i mean blow everyone's minds not just the few... fingers crossed! Anyone else seen the martian yet?

It was a no-brainer for me ...I love all space flix. cheesy, bad...doesn't matter. They are works of art.
I like every movie on this list:

MemberXenomorphOct-04-2015 12:18 PMWatched it twice(so far). 3D first time, 2D second time. Loved the 3D but it was a smaller screen...Liked the 2D because it was a much larger screen(Absolutely loved the big screen, hopefully VR headset can recreate that). I'll buy the 3D version when it comes out. Very funny movie. Great ambient soundtrack(that I'll pick up soon). Can't wait to see the 'making of' Documentary and all the scenes that didn't make the final cut.
Thank you Ridley!

MemberOvomorphNov-10-2015 12:42 AMI saw it about two weeks ago. I quite liked it. Ridley always produces good movies. The only thing I didn't really like was the similar ending to 'mission to mars'.
