MemberOvomorphMay-13-2014 3:28 PMAlien had a megaton of talent behind it, but without Giger I doubt any of us would be talking today. It really was him and his bizarre vision that propelled it to such otherworldly heights, and yes, thank you for the nightmares!
Not long after seeing the film I got Necronomicon as a gift and was introduced to a whole new level of art and imagination, I stared at that book for years and destroyed it in the process. Only Alien truly immersed us in that hellish vision, however briefly. I thope his art is studied closely for whatever environment is presented us in Prometheus 2, a dark dreadful Giger world would be breathtaking.
