Space Jockey weapons and fortifacations.

It is highly possible. 1. We saw some of their weapons being used on the hologram in Aliens Colonial Marines. 2. We can suspect that the chamber where the alien eggs were found underneath the derelict could be some sort of bunker. I am not sure however that this is a violent species. Though they did go into a civil war, which resulted in the creation, or rebirth, of the Xenomorph, they appeared not to be very threatening. Especially with the monk like outfits in the beginning of Prometheus. Also do not forget the deleted line by the elders: "May they one day return back to us." This hole peace and war concept goes back to the titans vs. the gods. In short: Yes they do have weapons. However they are mainly just the Xenomorphs and a few cannons strapped onto their juggernauts and UFOs. Also a few bunkers with MAYBE one or two energy cannons. They were never a species that was intended to go to war with each other. Something significant must have happened.

Im hoping its not going to be as unoriginal as that - I think if these guys have been around for as long as they have hinted they are waaaay beyond guns - maybe they can make black holes appear were they want them or warp a sun into existence on top of the enemies heads :D . It would be cool if they come up with stuff that just looks totally alien to us as weapons but make some kind of sense. Dont forget all we have seen is the grunts - maybe even slaves or drones if you like - the real guys with the top tech are probably the elders and we may get to see something billions of years more advanced - a nasty demi god or something so I really hope guns don't come into it least not in the way we think of them!

I'd love to see a sort of very, very, very dark version of knights of the old republic sort of thing in Prometheus 2! Imagine the Elders as sort of ancient jedi's and the other engineers as sort of like the sith, but with no lightsabers, they just use the force. :) After all, Star Wars (which I love) is for kids, right? Prometheus 2 could be like Star Wars for grown ups, full of blood and guts! Happy days!

NO way dude, engineers will never be a Jedi, maybe Sith but then maybe Sith are the good guys. A reverse role switch in a prequel Star Wars?.. Anyway what fun would that be with out a light saber. They might however be clones for war.
