First of all, Hi everyone. I finnaly joined you guys. I am a fan of Alien, Predators , Prometheus movies. Sorry if this was discused allready. I've seen something that botters me in Prometheus: when the Deacon get out right next to him, on the floor, is a "ball" (dont know how to describe, sorry if my english is bad) that looks pretty much alive to me.... You can hear in the background the hearthbeats (you can be tricked that is the Deacon's hearthbeat) and if you watch carefully, you can see that the "ball" is pumping in that rithm. So i am only thinking that it's some kind of a new "alien". It doesnt have sense to me that the Deacon's heart should be outside his body...Hell, no.

Hey, it appears to be a pulsating placenta, very much like a human placenta. If you search google images you'll see. To me it pretty much rules out the Deacon being an egg layer, placental creatures don't normally lay eggs lol. It really is a new creature and a new life cycle, a deconstruction of the original xenomorph.

I hope you're right. I wanna see some good old-fashioned Egg-Morphin' baby!! (Definitely agree that it looks placental)

Yes, it looks like a placenta, but again, i think it could be something new. I can't just stop thinking about it. Maybe a Xeno that aren't that agressive like the ones we allready know. I dont know...this must not be unsolved.

I hope they go back to LV 223 in the sequel and follow what the new xenomorph does. The thing you mention I think could have been a dormant fetus from a xenomorph, as I think we're to infer that the last engineer was impregnated like the others, only the thing never grew and burst out of him. The other engineers' hyper sleep chambers had holes where xeno's probably burst out, and the engineer from the first, Alien, got to LV 426 only to have one burst from his chest while he was still in the chair.
