MemberOvomorphApr-24-2013 12:03 AMLike all Ridley Scott's sci fi movies, it invites intellectual debate. Thats half the fun! Besides, lets face it, for all the good there certainly is in this movie, there are some major aspects that definitely could have been improved - like the scientists!

MemberOvomorphApr-24-2013 1:17 AMI love the movie and when people "whine" about it you have to remind them if they can make an even better movie which is very doubtful you have to get a film degree. Or at least learn all about film and how to do it.
The Anunnaki were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, mighty men of high reno

HICKS ( online again )
MemberOvomorphApr-24-2013 4:44 PMI've always liked Prometheus (I find it a great movie), but after watching it about 200 times, I have been unraveling the plot, the story, and then you realize that Prometheus is a work of art!

MemberOvomorphApr-24-2013 7:49 PMI own both the Blu-Ray and DVD version with both books about the art of the film. I have seen it like about as many times as cuponator3000 has maybe more I cant remember its way too cool. My parents even want to see it because I've been talking about it since it came out last year.

MemberOvomorphApr-24-2013 9:00 PMLuckily Prometheus was not as the Thing prequel, but I must admit that some things could have been better. Anyway still a good movie for this franchise that was dead in the past, and at least Ridley Scott dared to do something different, regardless of the fact that many of these concepts belong to Star Beast.

MemberOvomorphApr-26-2013 1:48 AMSee Shambala, that's where you and I disagree.
I LOVED the Thing Prequel (with the Swedish actors) and wish that 'this advertised Alien prequel' would have done exactly as it said on the tin. I didn't. It redid Alien, it could now afford a Pyramid and Murals and such, and just redid it.
That's my personal opinion.
2013 sci-fi horror novels 'Custodian' and 'Tandem' available from Amazon, B&N, iTunes etc...

MemberOvomorphApr-26-2013 7:56 PMFrom my point of view it was a very predictable movie. Besides no one talks much about the film, it's lifetime was unnoticed, but that's just my opinion of course.
