Vickers...love her to death...tho I think she might most likely not make it to the very end....She reminds of Ripley...yet more of an enigma and her voice...simple beautiful and so cool....she not scared to use that flamethrower either...and Charlize is from my country.....so I can't help but be a bit patriotic....oh and she is gorgeous to boot and a fantastic actress!
2. Shaw....She's a close second and after watching the movie she might become my favorite....I have'nt watched the original "Girl with the dragon Tattoo"....but everyone's raving about it...so she must have been really good and from what i have seen in the trailers....she seems like a good actress and very pretty as well....i love it when she screams....horrors simply is not the same without a really good screamer!
3. David.....I like Fassbender as an actor and he generally seems like a nice person on all the interviews i have seen so far....I also have a slight crush on him...a gay android...or at least thats how his character comes across...lol...i bet his gonna do something very mischievous....during an interview with him and Charlize they ask him if David is a good Android and he said yes his a good guy.....Theron kept silent for a while and then said.....yes his a good guy...(and after a pause).......am i twitching!....so his perhaps not as innocent as we all suspect!
4. Janek....purely cause i loved him in Luther and his a great actor!
5. Holloway......his hot as hell and i also have a crush on him....but his Character seems a bit Shallow....a real Mr know it all..bit to arrogant....but I think that's the way his character are meant to come across....so I don't have a problem with Logan's acting abilities.
6. Milburn and Fifield....purely based on that hammerpede soundclip....it's sounds so terrifyingly authentic....both actors clearly know how people in that situation should sound.....
.....cannot comment on the rest of the cast....not familiar enough to make a fair comparison......so who do you guys/girls like the best judging from the trailers, clips, interviews... etc....you've seen so far...?

MemberOvomorphMay-16-2012 11:57 AMIt's hard to say.. We still haven't seen the movie so the characters that we like can become very different from what we're imagining right now.
But I think Shaw is my favorite at least now. Just because Noomi is probably an idol for me, so I can't hate her character even if she turns out to be villain and so on.
Also.. David and Janek. Both great actors, and both characters seem to be likeable.

But, to the OP...and everyone else...do yourselves a favor and go see the SWEDISH (original) "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" (there already are the other 2: Played with fire, and GW Kicked a Hornet's Nest as well---they are great too)....Noomi is a FANTASTIC actress and is much better in it that the Americanized version of the film...

Vickers is a hot babe. Other than that I cannot... yes Juxtapose... I cannot pick a fave Character until AFTER I view this film.
You made your picks now, but after seeing the film will say that you were wrong... you were SO wrong.

I think I will like most of them because I already know and like many of the actors portraying them. I even have seen Logan Marshall Green already in "Devil". As far as the characters themselves... it will be that type of movie where our initial opinion of them will change. And because of that I think your list will change, and so I'm going to wait until I see the film to choose my fave character.
