scene with space jockey is what ties it in to Alien in last 8 minutes

@dopelganger Off course this movie is not going to be based on Alien, not directly not every aspect, its going to give a back ground story to the Bio Mechanical Space Jockeys, and the kinds of Technology they have and Gene Manipulation/bio Forming. A sequence of events could lead to how the Xeno well the progenitor to the Xeno was created. Ridley said that the movie will link to Alien well it will have links to the events at the start of Alien but not be a film directly about Xenos. He said there would be no Xeno, by that he could mean we would not see the fully formed Xeno Organism. As i have said Ridley and co have mentioned a few things recently. 1) The last 12-8 minutes will tie in with Alien 2) We will see in those last moments definate Alien DNA by that i think they will show something that will we will make a direct connection with Alien Xeno Cycle. 3) The movie will be about how the Mommy meets Daddy. 4) That when you see any Rolling Stones Concert you would expect them to play a certain hit record even as just a encore. That tells me while we have all these differnt Alien Organisms we seen in Trailers and we may be able to see some traces of DNA, we will see at the end of the movie a Organism or something that is directly linked to Alien. But it wont be a fully formed Xeno.

As far as the scene with the tear in the suit and the Eel like creature getting inside. The colour is the same as the Space Jockey, and if what you say is correct that would explain how something chest bursted out of the Jockey in Alien. However where would Shaws Baby Squid fit in with this? Is the creation of the Xeno as simple as Worm infects Space Jockey? And changes them different to they do with us? Whats more is look at the fingers in that scene where the Organism gets into the tear, look at the glove that goes to cover up the tear.... now look at Fifields Gloves in this picture. Note the Space Suit in that image looks darker because the scene is darker.

The arm is smoking too like after an acid attack. I didn't think it was human, but the glove looks like it is trying to stop the pink penis. So, it does look like a human being infected. There is also the unexplained scene with the crew member raising their arms as they enter the hangar. It was like, no I am not dangerous. I expect all hell to break loose after this person is allowed on board. Also, there is a scene with all three vehicles returning to the ship. Maybe someone was left for dead and returns as a Trojan horse. There is also the comment of one actress dying 28 minutes into the film. She says tall guys in bone suits terrorize the crew on their ship. This may be a red herring because the ship looks torn apart, and that may be too soon for it to happen in the movie. That said, I saw a picture of an open SJ suit and a blue guy walking to it. They were about the same size. It may have been a photoshop by a fan though. Also, in the link to pictures shown earlier, a crew member is on the Prometheus and the caption says it is Guy Pierce. It resembles him a lot, but it is hard to tell. At any rate, it isn't an old Wayland and it isn't the Wayland from the TED talks. Has Wayland been resurrected into an android?

@thefacehead, I know what you mean they do state in the orig that the bones look bent outwards which is why when my friend told me the Sj is attacjed by another creature called the Deacon ( due to its Mitre like head which it uses to force its way into his chest, they all seem to derive from squid or octopi in base appearance ) I had to get him to repeat it. perhaps the theory that this isnt the same Sj as the orig may have some weight . I dont expect to see any Facehuggers in this so what I have heard maybe the Deacon is the Prototype Facehugger?. I know Trolls are going to say I aint a Troll. I know guys in the Physical FX Department as well as people at MPC. I only pass on what I have heard as it seems to be a free for all regarding what theories people believe or not, i trust the guy enough to pass on what I have heard as fact in the hope people will find it interesting. I enjoy the speculation as mad as some of the suggestions are, we shall find out soon enough if I have been lied to. ;-)
