Yutani coming?

"Oh they was asked about the Mission to LV 223, and they said yes there is a ship with a crew but they cant say what its purpose is but that this is not the only Humans in the movie or other beings, and to think of it as similar to Nostromo mission, in more than a few ways but it plays a big part in the plot and is one 3rd of the Movies Plot....

But that a 3rd movie would cover more of the mysteries of that System but they can not go into details..... the details about the Xeno connections they said are points that will be covered vaguley. but the Human involvement in it all is one of the main Plot devices that will be revealed"

This is information i was given yesterday, i added it to my thread from the same source.... the person who spoke to this source says the source is very ambigious with stuff because they cant give full details but hints that when you think and look at them in context to the franchise should give the clues in more detail but that their comments will make more sense once information is released or after the movie is out.

So im not sure how to read into the stuff, but a lot of it if true is interesting and so i will try and tackle this latest comment...

This adds up to yes a new set of Travelers...  but "not the only Humans?" does that mean oh yes Shaw? Or a few scenes on Earth i.e Weyland Outpost on Mars or Earth?  Does it mean a Company outpost in the outer reaches of the Galaxy well futher than LV-223/LV-426?  "other beings" ok so does that mean other Race that is seen on Paradise or some other place in the Galaxy?  or when we take it with Ridleys comment about how Earth may not be the only place to find Human Life, does this mean outposts and colonies like Hadleys Hope.... or a seperate Race of Humans created by the Engineers or taken to some other place far away and without contact from Earth.

Like Caprica/Earth in  the Battle Star Galactic Universe?

What by?  A Company Ship that is unware of the Dangers? Sent by the Company? To get infected with a Life Form?  This is all too similar to Alien.... but then could it be a Ship with a Crew with a Female Lead... again too similar to Alien!

Or a Ship that detects a Signal and goes to investigate or is re-routed to investigate, that could be more fitting and would maybe fit better than a Ship sent from Earth sometime after Prometheus reached LV-223...

Ridley said its incomming, that could mean anything, but i think in Timeframe maybe its a ship that has either set off after Prometheus but is a matter of Months or a year behind, or a ship that is out in a near by part of the Galaxy that is then re-routed to investigate i.e has to be much closer than say 38LY to LV-223

But surely such a ship can not catch David and Shaws ship? we have to assume the Engineers Ships can travel much faster, and the Weyland Files sugest Prometheus was a state of the Art Ship that opens the door to futher Space Exploration..... but then the Weyland Website shows us the company have explored systems way futher than LV-223 by the time before Prometheus which we have to consider is a error on the part of the team behind that as far as surely Ships before Prometheus could travel faster?

Even so, we would have to assume that David or Shaw would want to meet up with another Ship, maybe David could... but i am sure he is far more facinated by what he can find on Paradise than to return the Spoils of LV-223 back to Earth or the Company.... Ridleys comments said they are going to Paradise, David is bringing Hell with him and what happens if God or Machine is infected with the Goo.... these comments were a long time ago... but if they are still behind the Plot, then why would David want to stop off and pick up the crew of another Human Ship especially one from Earth, unless he wants to use them as experiments?

But i think he would rather get to Paradise and consider his own Agenda, to play God maybe?

Shaw would surely not want to trust any other Humans, she would want David to get her to where these Engineers come from....

So this leaves maybe a Human Ship from Earth (originates) to maybe go investigate LV-223/426?

However...... what about a Curve Ball.... not as in Time Travel and Human ship that is faster comming in from some kind of Time Travel be that Accidental?  Ridley did say he was comming to Alien from the Back or Side end? But i think he means by the time he is finished and so not in the 2nd movie!

So what if indeed as in Battle Star Galactica  i.e Earth/Caprica there is another Human Civilisation that are advanced that are on the way between LV-223 and Paradise?  Maybe this could be whats happening? Who knows...

But how does the link to Ripley fit in?  I think he was on about Alien 5 as in the next one is about Ripley, but this one has a link but he wont go into detail... this one must be Paradise Lost?  But how?   Flash Back dream of Shaws like my idea was?  some other relative connected in a scene on Earth or a Company Outpost?

Or that incomming Ship? If this is the case then it must rule out that the Ship is from another Human Civilisation.

The source i had, is very vague with stuff and they wont directly say whats what.... just as Ridley Scot has been doing over the last few years......  Which basically leaves us with comments that well could be like Nostradamus as far as eventually you can fit in what happens in the movie to comments made by Ridley/The Source where as right now you cant think what they mean or how they would connect... until it happens...

I am going for a Ship that is out there in the Galaxy not too far from LV-223 that either goes or is ordered to investigate that Zeta 2 System.... or maybe a ship that has already been to that System and is off to Paradise too, before Prometheus?  But not in a Engineer ship but how would they know about Paradise, if they did because of a Android like David then would they not have taken a Engineer Ship too?

Maybe then its a Earth Ship that is beyond Lv-223 and then detects David and Shaws ship comming close and follows them... but then again how would it catch a Engineer Ship, and also especially depending how far Paradise is.... surely this incomming Ship if its in persuit has to turn up not to long after David and Shaw do...? Which would mean Paradise is not so far away?

Why have no Engineers or Creators come back to LV-223 or Earth?  Ridley says that Disaster waits... which could mean the place was a disaster as Ridley said... so thats something has already happened... before David and Shaw?  Or after David and Shaw?

But then Ridley mentioned about David and Shaw meeting some beings who are not Gods, and are not Nice... so that means there must be some left when they get there...?

But here is the Thing!!! Ridley said ages ago that once Davids Head is back on then Shaw is at his whim and he can go where ever he wants.......  And the Source says that they go off to Paradise but they dont necessarily have to go to the Engineers Homeworld, but they go to some place connected to the Engineers!

Could he pop off to LV-426?  As the source did say concept work they saw, was very much dark and looked like LV-426 than LV-223.... could David go to LV-426 first?  The source said Shaw does not Technically Die? What does that mean?

Maybe a David going to LV-426 and getting up to no Good then going off to Paradise could work, maybe the incomming ship goes down to LV-426?   The Source does sugest that Human DNA and not Engineers that is connected to our Xenos from LV-426!

Ridleys latest comment said about the Cargo and something Evolved.... we are led to the Space Jockey and Derelict being on LV-426 for thousands of years... Ridley even said within few hundred years of the LV-223 outbreak that killed nearly all the Engineers off..... So while the Derelict had been on LV-426 for 1800-2200 years.... have the Eggs been there for that long?

Who knows..... be interesting to find out!

Wow! Sounds great! Can't wait for the first set pictures and cast hirings.

Well i think we would likely see stuff pretty soon, if they are set to Shoot in January?  Some sources say Febuary but this could be just when Fassbender is cast to shoot his scenes, and so other scenes could be shot earlier.

If we are what 10-15 weeks away from Shooting then i would safely assume Production work has begun and it certainly would be being ramped up now as far as Props, Costumes and Sets etc.....  it may not sound a lot of time, but we have to remember some sets etc are not detailed and a lot of Green Screen work can be used  and so they dont have to build complex detailed sets and scenes as a lot of work is done in Post Production and after Shooting, so a basic green screen or basic shape of some of the sets could be made and then detail is added via CGI afterwards.

So i would say that we may start to see leaks and more information  in about 6-10 weeks time.

Did they keep the sets from Prometheus? Can't imagine they destroyed the Jockey chair!? They auctioned off alot of the props....did they keep anything? 

You would think they NEED the interior of the Juggernaut! Shaw and David travelling....or are they going to skip that part and just start the movie on Paradise....save them from rebuilding the Juggernauts interior(jockey chair/cargo hold).

Who knows.... it may have made sense at the time of shooting the Headless David and Bag Scene with Shaw, that they shot a few more Scenes while on Set regarding Shaw going into Cryo Sleep and How David operated the Juggernaught.

Ridley hints that he will be put back together and Shaw has no Choice, and once his head goes on then basically she would be at the whim of David.... this was a long time ago....  so it would indicate that they would be shooting Scenes onboard the Juggernaught as opposed to just leave it as we saw at the end of Prometheus where we had no scenes of how David managed to Fly the ship while his head was seperated from his body... but it seems there would be scenes in the next movie..... so did they shoot some while on set? or not? who knows.

As far as keeping the set for the Juggernaught it would have made some sense, but who knows... if Fox had planned to do a seqeual which seemed the case from the get go then maybe.... if they was not sure or not sure on a time frame then they would have to take into account storage costs for the set.  A lot of stuff was Auctioned off but a lot could be items they may not use again.

And there is always the chance they would simply reproduce the sets from Scratch again.
