This is the painting "Chiquita"from 1972, and If you look carefully, you can see a humanoid in the upper left of the paint.

Very similar to a space jockey in suspended animation inside a hypersleep chamber.

MemberNeomorphNov-16-2013 7:14 AMIt's freaky how similar the elephant skull is to the human skull!
The poster was good though!

MemberDeaconNov-18-2013 11:51 AMYes this image does look similar to the Space Jockey suits and also the Cryo Pods, and maybe this lent as inspiration?
There is so much Giger Art out there that has influenced the franchise, not all of it is sexual related i.e naked women hybrids, women faces or male and female genitale..
Almost every one has that Bio Mech Look and some more Mechanical than Organic....
Maybe this could be key and its as i have said in other threads they could go the route of the supreme creator to be some kind of Machine that has a single brain in the center but then it is some Bio Mechanical Machine and Architecture that kept growing and growing, like say how Coral does...
And this replicating growing Bio Mechanical Machine could create many kinds of life and also absorb many kinds, i think that would be a cool idea.
If this machines prime purpose is to create organisms to then go and extract genes from other organisms so that this machine can improve and evolve itself and also use the best parts of what ever genomes it gains to produce even more advanced and efficient organisms to carry on and to its bidding.
