I've always found it strange that humanity always seems to consider the possibilitity of other (extraterrestial) lifeforms in terms of being carbon based only.
This scientists work is amazing & the possibilities are incredible, but it freaks me out a bit too! LOL
I'm thinking Mecha Godzilla, T1000'S, Biomechanical Aliens & 3D Printing!! YIKES :-D

I found out a long time ago, that when the realities of science are presented to the mainstream, they either don't believe or will call it lies. Reality is stranger than fiction.
If the universe is infinite, then mathmatically the chances of finding life suddenly increase. Mankind is too arrogant to accept this. Carl Sagan was spot on with this imo.
