prometheus alternate scene shaw fights engineer

I can't edit my post for some reason. The video shows Shaw hiding from the engineer and then and attacking . the scene was cut from the original for length issues. I have more alternate/deleted scenes i will upload on youtube.

The Shaw fighting the Engineer scene was not cut from the original for length issues. Rid felt that Shaw holding her own with an Engineer diminished the all powerful image of the Engineer, so......... So says Rid!!!

The truth is the real footage beamed back to Earth would have much worse cause this guy being so powerful and being so jacked up...jacking up the rating to XXX. Remember these Nephilim have a thing for earth chicks.

Yeah so he says... :) But end of the day she gave him a few bashes with the Axe, now i am sure many on here would not pick a fight with Mike Tyson but if you had a Axe i am sure that would even up things. I dont think the scene made the Engineer look diminished at all.... hey they could have cut it down rather than re-shot it.... I think the full scene simply showed the Engineer to not be aggressive, just as the full Engineer Speaks scene.... Maybe Ridley and Fox wanted to re-edit the movie to basically portray the Engineer as well some crazed Earth Hating Nut who went Postal... He deleted the full Engineer scene as he never liked the look of the Elders and he thought they did not look as awe inspiring and menacing as he hopped. I WORRY BIG TIME.... That this interesting Engineer race we had been shown both from the drafts to the full shots, they are simply not pleased and just want to change to a mindless brutal thugs. And i worry by his comments that this is what they may go for in Paradise, basically a bunch of 8ft Bald Guys who are about as friendly as a bunch of drunk Klingon's who you dishonored by slating off their mothers smooth forehead... So instead of interesting race that had its hand in creating stuff... I hope we just dont see a movie about 8ft Skinheads that behave just like in that Movie Romba Stompa.....

Good point bigdave P2 has got to be something very interesting to male it work because in all likely hood the engineer slave race home world could be an elder deserted place with a few engineers left after many battles with the still other loyal factions. And if so what will they do to shaw and david. Else it might be much more of the dsame: a deserted full of wonders and technology that only david can understand and shaw ending uo in a dead end unable to use the technology at hand to answer questions. That makes david like a god whoi can manupulate her at will. What will he do ? Once he is re connected . Will weyland yutani follow them and might there actualy be a goid like superior being that will eventually step in and assist shaw - the power above the super elders who might actually being monitoring everything ???

So I guess david might be the key to everything.

@oduodu Yes indeed as Ridley hinted Shaw cant trust David but she has no choice as she doomed on LV 223 and wont escape without her, and the Temples may sustain her but there is no food, and also who knows how many Hammerpedes are around, and with a Deacon on the lose... Shaw knows David can take her away from this Hell in one of the Engineer Ships and she wants to go find where these Engineers are from as she wants answers... But as soon as shes in Cryo Sleep, which we assume she would be placed, i am sure David has free will to do what he wants, he knows off and could visit LV 426 he could take the ship back to Earth..... But i think a part of him would be more intrigued to find out where these Engineers come from for himself. There are clues to what they will get up to... Its Pretty Much Certain they would be off to Paradise, and Ridley has said that they would find beings there who are not Godlike in the traditional sense and who are far from Benevolent. He did not want to meet God in Prometheus and maybe thats why the Elders scene was cut and so many others that depict more depth to Engineers.... Because to me it shows he wants to explore that in Paradise and that he may want to change some things about them that he may not have been 100% pleased with how they was portrayed in Prometheus. Ridley also said that David would be bringing Hell with him and pondered what happens when the Goo infects God or a Robot. We have to assume that this Paradise either has very little left as far as beings and that they are weakened in numbers and so would see it too much hassle to go after Earth and Mankind... Or if there are many, then maybe they have reason for not going to Earth, either they dont know about us, or think we have been taken care of, or they know about us and that the mission failed to wipe us out but they dont care anymore as in their arrogance they may feel that without there help, Mankind can just rot on Earth and we pose no threat what so ever as surely we are too primitive to explore Space without the Engineers Help.... How wrong they are and how wrong they would be, and they if any of above is the case, how would they react once they find out that Mankind is alive and can travel space, and have found their outpost taken one of their ships and found their Home World and created a Robot David who understands their Language and Technology. Even a Benevolent Race would be concerned about that, you can only imagine how a not so Benevolent Race would feel..... Ultimately in order to not cause some loop holes in incontinuities with Alien Franchise.... We have to assume one of 2 things... 1) The distance is so vast that David and Shaw dont arrive at Paradise until way after the events of Alien Resurrection and thus would be too far for Earth Ships to ever reach even if it had the coordinators. 2) They arrive some years after Prometheus or Months but to Travel to Paradise with out the Engineer Technology would be to far and take too long for the space ships of the Earth Colonies.... but that wont stop the Engineers getting to Earth etc.... So indeed by the end of Paradise or the Franchise, David will and must indeed unleash Hell on Paradise and wipe out all Engineers and what other beings they find.... But we are left another loop hole.... plot hole etc.... thats LV 223... If LV 223 is still around at the time of Alien and more so Aliens and Alien Resurection then why have Weyland Yutani not gone to LV 223? Surely over time they would intercepts Shaws SOS, and most likely sooner rather than latter as surely the Suits back at Weyland would want to know what happened to Prometheus... No doubt that Yutani would be interested in why Prometheus was never heard of again, and if they found out the reason why they went and then discovered Shaws SOS.... They would know someone survived and the place has at very least something Dangerous but not so Dangerous that Shaw managed to Survive... And if Weyland Yutani had some ideas of what may had been on LV 426 certainly Ash was told to bring back a Specimen and would known there was a potentially dangerous unknown Bio Weapon to be had... I cant see those same people in charge passing up having a look at LV 223 simply because Shaw says place is full of death... To me a massive part of Alien Franchise would be where did Weyland Yutani come from, surely the Merger happened before Alien but after the death of its CEO and Vice CEO and surely the company put vast amounts into that mission but with so many colonies and mines etc they would have money spare? It would be interesting to see that side, and find out about a mission to LV 223, just not in Paradise... i would save that for a 3rd movie... And we have to assume that at some point before Alien, that LV 223 has no fruits to bare, and that the Company sent Ash with Nostromo to LV 426 as opposed to LV 223 because well there is nothing left on LV 223 and maybe its destroyed by then? I think a ideal way of doing this would be that after Paradise, after Shaw finds the Gods well not so God and get answers, and ultimately David Unleashes Hell on them.... Shaw would feel relived that these Engineers and creators can no longer affect Mankind. But she would surely know that despite her Warnings, and no doubt David and or the beings they find on Paradise would give more insight into LV 223 the Goo maybe the Xeno, then Shaw would then know that chances are eventually Mankind would send a mission to LV 223 and if that happens, then the place has many more temples, many more stock piles of Goo and Juggernauts and she would know that if David can read their Language and use their Tech, then well the other Weyland Androids can do so too. There is absolutly no chance that Mankind should get their hands on the Engineers Bio Weapons and Ships, and so it would be safe to assume that Shaw sets off again with David to finally destroy the last remains of the Engineers Tech and Weapons... This would be a 3rd movie that could introduce Weyland Yutani, or that even Yutani set a mission, or that its Weyland but after they find LV 223 and get into mishap, and latter Shaw and David arrive to make sure they cant get hands on anything from LV 223. This again ends up being a big blow financially to Weyland, and that at the end of the movie they are forced to Merge with Yutani, and that there is nothing to be had on LV 223 as its gone... But then we see that unknown to Shaw, David knows about LV 426 and we see a board meeting about plans to send Android Ash to go take Nostramo to LV 426 in order to attempt to salvage any last remains of what ever Evils these Engineers had a part in... And we could cut to a scene of the Nostramo flying through space.....
