Who would play the next set of Engineers in Paradise?

They could always change the prosthetics to have different facial features and use the same actors.

Yeah I would think the same actors are going to play unless someone , somehow wows them in an audition or something along those lines

Listening the RS comments on the people that played the engineers ( elvis and bob) , he seemed very impressed by them. AT the idea of willis and diesel, at least they wont have to spend to much time on haircuts.

Well they need to be tall so I guess RS could hire a pack of basketball players and change the facial features and behavior....

Its a strange concept but the entire civilization of Engineers may all be facially similar, the males at least and at least the younger more verile types. They may all be similar as they get to old age too if the y even get there. Not sure about the females, we have yet to see how the Engineers socienty truely functions. If indeed it even does so anymore, by conventional means at least (i.e) obviously males and females coupling. I wonder if Shaw is going to end up being the key to their salvation in some ways if the Engineers are somehow in fertile or the entire civilization has collapsed and the females were vanquished somehow then it stands to reason why they would go into hybernation until a cure was found, if that is indeed what has happened to them in the distant past.

Ricky Gervais. I hope if there to be more the Engies, they will be much more frightening along with other tall entities beyond description. Epic is wonderful, but they should move up a gear or three with the scares I think.

See, I've NEVER understood this cinema-trenches aspect of the Prometheus movie; the one where you have to hire a REALLY TALL basketball player (and stand him on a box) to play the roll of a giant i) he wasn't even as tall as he should have been i.e. 4-5 meters and ii) he couldn't act. For me, use THE TECHNIQUES OF MODERN CINEMATOGRAPHY as they did with the final ChestHugger scene, i.e. seamless.

They don't have to be giants to look the part. Look what Peter Jackson did in Lord of the Rings to make normal sized people look like halflings or what Disney did 50+ years ago in Darby O'Gill and the Little People to create the Leprechauns.

I agree on that one Darby O'Gill is a movie I haven't seen in a very long time its even got Sean Connery in it too.

What about getting people that are really super tall that aren't basketball players? Just get other unknown actors from different countries. Like they did with Alien, the African Massai guy he was really awesome as the creature.
