Looking at the picture of the xeno crucifiction ( the one in the head room). It looks like there is a humanoid figure behind it, kinda looks like a cyclops or it has a plate or something over its forehead and eyes. You can see what looks like its wearing a robe with its hands under the xeno arms. Its looks like its lowering the xeno down.
or is it just me

MemberOvomorphMar-07-2013 4:54 PMI have expressed in a thread of mine the idea that the head looks like a penis and the belly like the female genitalia. See here in the last posts. What do you think?

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2013 5:36 PMWhat you refer to as the humanoid figure looks somewhat demonic to me. Somehow as if, the demon is controlling the Deacon. I have found some interesting images that seem to have some common themes attached to them and what we see in Prometheus. Accidental? I don't know.
Take a look at this Shogun helmet and see what you think. There are quite a few variations about on this but when I look at the picture of the crucified Deacon, this is what I see.

MemberOvomorphMar-08-2013 4:58 AMYes i noticed the hands holding up the xeno, behind the xeno looks like a trilobite or something.
Also if you look just above the xeno/deacon? there is sign that can be found on this creatures chest >>> http://www.prometheus2-movie.com/gallery/view/img/820

MemberFacehuggerMar-08-2013 1:08 PMIn the Sistine Chapel there is the mural of the birth of Venus. In the Ampule Room we have the mural of the birth of the Xenomorph? I have always gotten the feeling that the Ampule Room is where the fallen angels, or dark angels were up to no good.

MemberOvomorphMar-10-2013 1:56 PMThe 'head' at the top does not remind me of a humanoid. If anything, it more resembles the fan of the Alien Queen.
My impression is that the mural depicts a Deacon emerging from a host, with pieces opened up, almost like a school dissection of a rat, complete with spread-out hips/femurs.
Above the face-hugged humanoid on the left is a folded humanoid body, almost like a foetus, attached to a tentacle.
The upper section of the mural features symmetrical elements that resemble a vaginal tract in cross-section. You could almost imagine folding up the two halves along a vertical centre line to make three-dimensional body parts.
At the end of the day, it's very pretty and – ultimately – Giger-esque. A lot of his paintings share the same kind of symbology. Not every element can be interpreted literally.
