I'd say it's fake. And if it's not it doesn't matter, I've seen much weirder creatures than that.

yes a sea lamprey to be exact. They latch on to fish and suck the blood and life out of them. This specimen is partially out of frame from what the caption read. I saw it on line. Truly disgusting creature but that's nature. To tie it in with Prometheus, if you watch 'The Furious Gods, Ridley Scott said nature makes the most horrible creatures so they looked at natural species when designing monsters other than those directly derived from H.R. You should look up the one eyed albino bull shark they found inn the gulf of california. freaky looking thing.
