*-12 Degrees
*Water Not Frozen
*Millburn mentions it might be Martian Piss
*Millburn says it sure is collagenous (I had to look up this word)
*Somebody says it might be sediment
Forget about the above being in Prometheus say this was a description used in any another setting : what might you think they are describing? More on this a bit later..
There was a comment on a forgotten thread talking about the tunnel system and their shape. I believe it said something to the effect that the tunnels looked liked they were carved out by water flow. Something like what we see in cave creations on earh, lava flow ect.
Back to our movie..
The sediment comment made me think about the sediment often seen in rivers..left by water flowing.
Our cast of charactors thought it looked collagenous or maybe sediment.
And everywhere our crew went in the pyramid they were always opening doors to enter another part of the pyramid as something like submarine with water sealed hatches needed in case of a flood. REcall there was dirt on the floor of the Big Head Room but not anyplace else i can recall seeing.
Putting together all of the clues must lead to some kind of connection to understanding our movie.
I am not saying that our Crew is walking the tunnels of a toilet. I am suggesting that the tunnels were flooded with something to cleanse the tunnels of debris and perhaps that is what the lower well was actually used for .. a drain.
It seems a way of accounting for the liquid that doesn't freeze and the sediment discovered on the floor of the tunnel.
How all of this fits in with many of the grand theories posters have of the theme/meaning of the show.. I do not know.
I just wanted to note a portion of the movie that seems to offer clues given by our crew about tunnels, water not freezing and sediment found but not explained.
Maybe we just have to use the unscientific method of imagination to explain parts of our movie.
