I myself have been lucky enough to snag a valuable piece of the film for my own personal collection - one which I will cherish forever. Below is a pic of my own piece of Prometheus; a Medium sized Ampule - yes, the containers that held the Black Goo which causes hell for everyone on LV_223 in Prometheus. To answer your questions ahead of time - No, I was not mutated upon receiving it and it seems to be stable for now. ;) Haha

For me, this is the cherry on top of an amazing year promoting this film and looking forward to the sequel. The folks over at [b]PropStore[/b] are a great bunch and they have some incredibly cool products to offer.
I can also mention... that [b]PropStore[/b] has something special in store for the members of [i]Scified.com / Prometheus2-Movie.com[/i]... more on that will soon be revealed. So keep watching the homepage for news and updates! ;) But I can't say anything more about that for now.

Alas, just not financially feasible for me to jump on one. Propstore.com definitely has some great prometheus items, but the stuff i would want is just too high. Again, very cool piece! congrats on procuring it!

And [b]joeyjoe[/b], you may benefit from what I'll be revealing soon then regarding our collaboration with [b]PropStore[/b], so keep checking the homepage for when I release more info! :) If I could get everyone here a prop, I would. But like you said, they are very expensive. But like I said, keep an eye on our homepage, cause you may find a way... to get something. ;)
And @[b]NCC[/b], yes! Haha I'll try to avoid spicy food so I don't affect the atmosphere of the room it's in. Hahaha XD

MemberOvomorphJan-06-2013 1:12 AM WOW, what an awesome piece. I've wanted one of those since I saw them in the movie. If I could afford one I would get one. That would be my most prized possession of all my collection, and that's saying something with all the cool things I got around my home. I would be so happy and lucky to have anything cool from the movie, I loved that movie.
What a lucky man you are Chris to be able to get an actual prop from an awesome movie.
And also Chris, what a good job you and the others did to this site, looks amazing, what a really cool job you've done.

As for the prop, yeah it's quite awesome. I got a plush Facehugger for Christmas which perches itself on top of the Ampule in my apartment, haha. I thought it to be rather fitting.
Thanks for the compliments though, really appreciate it! I hope soon you can get a prop like this as well, keep an eye on the homepage... ;)

MemberOvomorphJan-06-2013 3:05 PMI've thought about getting one of those plush facehuggers just for fun, but never got around to actually getting one.
Last year my brother bought one of those life size bendable facehuggers, not the AvP preorder ones, on ebay for $50, that was such a good steal. I've been trying to get him to sell it to me. He's another big ALIENS fan so my bartering goes no where. I would love to get one of the facehuggers of my own and put it into a glass jar and sit it on my shelf, that would look so awesome.

MemberOvomorphJan-06-2013 10:44 PMThat's awesome Chris. The lettering on it could be deciphered in future Prometheus films. Who knows what the Engineers labelled it to say. "Black Goo,Its the Real Thing" or maybe "Diet Black Goo" ;)
