I just got this.Its a screen used stool used in the hyper-sleep chambers in Prometheus. I'm using it to support my principle costume worn by Lina Leandersson in the film "Let the Right One In". The stool itself is made of metal and its very heavy for its size. Its painted "Nostromo" white and has small cylinder plastic feet. Very well made and I'm really happy with it. This stool along with several others of the same design can be seen when David goes into the hyper sleep chamber to wake up the crew. Very cool! As not to steal any thunder from your post, I'm gonna make a new thread with my prop I got too! :) But very, very cool, Propstore is fantastic. I'm sure you've noticed we're working with them now to promote their Prometheus products! So thanks for sharing this with us! :)

My wife did visit the propstore site and looked for a nice gift for me..but felt she would rather treat me to a meal at Outback. I thought the Ampule s would be a great prop to have have. Tghe pix there illustrated the different sizes present in the Big Head Room. This was something that was not apparent on my first viewing of the movie. I am curious what your friends think the ampule is? A Bowliing pin perhaps. Also how do you explain the prop to folks that have not seen Prometheus? OOps I see I posted my note on the wrong thread. As far as the white foot stool I can't say I saw it in the film but now will check it out. It is great how you display the manikin with the dress on the stool. You said it was heavy and that was a surprise. I just thought that props were for visual appeal only and not realy functional. In any case it was a greart find and the right size for your display area.

I'm pretty happy with it :) @Chris.Looking forward to your post buddy.Are you the person snapping up the cockpit consoles from the ship.The consoles seem to disappear from the Prop Store site pretty fast.Is someone trying to recreate the cockpit in there living room ;) Looking forward to seeing your posting Chris :) @Indy John.Thanks John :) I was a bit surprised too,but the table is very heavy steel.When I picked it up at the Fed Ex office the clerk told me the box weighed 18 pounds. Half the fun of collecting props is explaining what they are and watching the looks on your friends faces. E.g "It's a whaat??" :)

I like Vickers glass Tumblers, personally. :P Oh and if you want to see some other movie props djrees56 has, look on the Blade Runner 2 thread, he posted some beauties from that movie (Blade Runner)
