There's one with the white deacon standing in profile, beautiful and ghastly. Has anyone got some to post here please? I really hope they can shoehorn this design into a sequel, because imo it is a truly frightening apparition you wouldn't want to meet on a dark night.

King - thanks a lot, that's the one. I can't save the image on my Mac - it will only save the webpage for some reason. Is there a direct link to this image or maybe you can pm me and email one as a jpeg? God, that is beautiful, anyone agree here? Now tell me this isn't what Sir Ridley meant by "scaring the living s**t out of us". It's the Alien but stripped down to a base, primordial, phantasmagorical entity that would be worthy of any prequel.

Almost as spooky, Patient, but doesn't come near Huante's baby. There's something of an elemental spirit feel to both of them. I've heard accounts of people seeing humanoids from 'other dimensions' - some faceless and one very bizarre account I heard about was of a jointed, marionette-like figure, very tall and again seemingly with no face that someone saw on a lonely road.

but i agree that deacon looks pretty disturbing and creepy if u ask me.

Carlos Huante's white Deacon looks incredible!!!! I agree Zeta..... No eyes indicates an acute sensory response to its environment It doesnt need to see you to get you! The way it looks so fiercely strong.... yet it stands with such relaxed ease balancing on its toes as if gravity is of no concern

imagine looking into dark water and seeing something pale swimming just visible like a baluga whale and a starved devil had a love-child it should be quiet its on its own after all and be uncertain and sneaky till it gets its first taste of carnage....

Yea.. I thought she looked beautiful :) I have been looking at Huante's art.. Thanks for drawing my attention to his work Zeta So incredible...I found this one of a female creature which is probably more in tune with the frightening appearance of his Deacon Im not 100% sure if it IS Huantes work or it is inspired by him [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/q6oHm.jpg[/IMG]

Thx for the pix. THey were both a bit creepy. The first sort of reminded me of the Dancing ladies used in the older biblical movies from the 50's. When younger I always thought these would be the rype of ladies that would lead me astray.

@tankgirl: Very cool! Starting to look a little 'James Cameron-y' for my taste though. Almost reminds me of Avatar rather than Alien. That being said- you know I love you. Keep em comin!
