In particular what or why David had a bag that contained just what he needed for this excusion.
Of special interest was when it was time to leave before the approaching storm.
David seeminly had not only the right size bag to carry an urn back to the Prometheus but also had the spraying canister he used just before packing the urn in the bag.
My guess he was on a mission to bring back goo on board the Prometheus. As we learn from later in the story he used it on his test subject Holloway because he just wanted to try harder.
But on this first vistit everything that David needed was there with him. He was very secretive in selecting, preparing, packing and concealing this goo treasure from other crew members.
How much advanced knowledge did David have of the pyramids? And when did he know this information?
He must have know about some type of goo that was needed for his eventual test...even before Weyland encourage him to 'try harder'.
It seemed like David went back out in the storm to save Shaw but what he wanted to really save Holloway for the drinking test?
I doubt if he would have used Shaw for testing purpose but still it is a thought.
Was David being directed by still an unseen entity?
