December 04, 2012 how can we ever understand the logic the Engineers
I see this as an answer to your own question. We suspect they are logical in their dealings with Universe, seeding planets ect.
What about the emotional attachment that as humans we have percieved as bring needed for a Superior race or even God?
Except for the rage our Last Engineer shows he is all about completing his mission a logical anf almost robotic theme.
So why would we expect him to be compassionate? Is that logiocal?
As far as our own world the real world we see examples of destroying life for a higher purpose, Others may know the specifics but certain animals destroy or abandon their young to almost certain death all done for the betterment of their breed/family.
If in our case the Last Engineer really saw the humans as such a destructive dangerous force it seemed logical to destroy our civilation on earth.
My question is why didn't he do this deed, thoroughly, to the remaining members of the crew still on the moon infact David was still in the Orrery.
David may not have been human but he still was a threat to the Engineer.
Be choicelessly aware as you move through life
