What was your favorite scene from Prometheus and why? This can include deleted scenes for those who have the Blu-Ray or who saw them online. Let the community know what scenes you particularly liked from Prometheus! For me, I really liked the scenes that showed the Prometheus ship, it's a magnificent design and I just really liked the effects used for it. But my favorite scene was probably the Trilobite vs. Engineer scene and the scene where the Engineer turns on Ford, David, Weyland and Shaw. Oh, and yes I really liked the Deacon birth scene at the end, I thought it was great. There are so many sequences that i love in the film. I suppose the scene depicting the sacrificial engineer (beginning of film) and the scene where the jockey-chair comes up out of the floor of the juggernaut and the engineer gets into the chair-suit are two of my very favorites (also, david inhabiting the prometheus while rest of crew was in cryostasis! just beautiful!).

My favorite scene is the killing of Weyland. It is a justice moment, that never happens in our historical moment. Persons that generates catastrophes (financial, military, ...) never are persecuted, while the thief of apples goes in jail. I think that an engineer, God, had his good reasons to do and we know it.

For me it's the character design of the egineer. Also the following scenes: - David combing his hair in front of the mirror and reciting a quote from the film he saw where the bloke burnt his finger The orb scanners Manipulation of the decapitated egineers head: Prometheus collision:

The engineer getting into the seat and the dramatic effect induced by that. The music in that scene was right on. The sounds of the juggernaut humming up and Shaw's running through the corridor trying to get out. All good stuff!

The med pod scene where Shaw performs the emergency c-section on herself. Medical related things have always intrigued me. Also the Trilobite scene at the end.

I like the scene when ...oh god there all freakin awesome! But I'd have to say that when the Deacon shows up sayin "This my house" is coooolll!

I really love the "cut" fight scene with Shaw & the engineer. To me it was believable the way that it was choreographed that she could have taken him on with that axe. The engineer seemed to enjoy playing with her like a cat does a mouse knowing that in the end they will win but what he doesn't know is she has a surprise waiting for him.....I would love to see the full sequence put back into a later edition. That's the only edited/cut scene I felt was worthy of leaving in out of the 4 disc Blu-ray set!!! Make it happen Mr. Scott!!! =)
Did I.Q.s just drop sharply while I was away??

Honestly, it's difficult to chose one scene. Number one would have to be the very end when the alien burst out of the engineer. But a close second was the alternate scene of when the missing crew member's camera was right outside and he had turned into more of an alien than a zombie like the original theatrical version had. Seeing him pounce instead of jumping was breathtaking. I have to admit I got a lot of goosebumps when watching it the first time and I can't wait for Paradise or the third one linking it to Alien.

The scenes where David watches and repeats Lawrence of Arabia. He actually watched my favourite scene from that movie, it gave me goosebumps.

My favorite was the end part when the deacon/alien burst out the engineer. Reason why is because I had no idea this movie had anything to do with the movie classic Alien.

I really liked those calm shots of Prometheus making the approach to landing. You know where it's very quiet, almost a "calm before the storm" moment. You see it from top down and from the back where it's just slowly drifting through the beautiful, but eerie landscape.

Since we all mostly agree that the chair rising was 1 of the best, I must also say the beginning with David is truly Ridley style . I only got the feeling of being alone when I saw that part, so it worked! :)

For me it was when the final Engineer awoke, I just loved the look on his face when faced with these intruders in his realm. Was he a benevolent being who was in awe of these humans who had finally found him? Eh...nope, he was a big, angry bastard!! Loved it!! Then the iconic flight chair emerged and I nerdgasmed and a little bit of wee come out!! Didn't care for the 'Deacon' though. To me it was just there to scream ''Hey...Fanboys..look, it's an Alien!!!'' Best character in the film has to be David, Micheal Fassbender was fantastic in the role and if there's a sequel, I hope he's the driving force behind the story.

my favorite scene in the whole film sent chills up my spine in the best way. It was the scene when the engineer raises the space jockey chair and it rises and rotates from the floor as the music crescendos into EPICNESS!!!!! I had been waiting for that moment my whole life, and it DID NOT disappoint :)!!!

Mine has to be when the Engineer fought the Trilobite.. Although the scene when Shaw had a caesarean was also a great, thrilling highlight of the film as-well.. The bloody thing almost got Shaw.. :)

Deacon birth. The scene we all waited 2 hours and 5 minutes to see.

The scene where the new breed of Xenomorph burst out of the chest of the engineer. I liked the movie but I did expect a little bid more of the Xenomorph. Ridley said the Xenomorph was used so much that he wanted something different, I totally agree with the fact that the Xenomorph has been raped by some movies but that is an even better reason to make a movie with the Xeno in it that is as good as the first movie, I meen the idea of Prometheus is perfect but the Xeno is what made the movie interresting, to leave the Xeno out of it almost the whole movie was not good in my opion. But then at the end, I knew the Xenomorph had to come but I almost lost my trust in that. But finally after 2 hours of waiting there it was. The most amazing creature that excisted in movie history was reborn in 2012. I loved it immedialty and it made the whole movie great again. However the deacon did was a little bit strange but no wonder he was strange. It was only the chestburster, I wonder how the adult one looks like. Well that's one of the 100 reasons to watch prometheus 2.

They said that the deacon was more of an ultramorph. Something that supercedes the xenomorph in both purity and killing power. The engineers and xenos had existed for a very long time. The deacon on the other hand is something that really shouldn't exist because it has the ability to wipe out both cultures.

I loved many scenes, but one that impressed me a lot was the ship crash. Looked amazing, had great weight as characters sacrificed themselves to save humanity.

My favourite is the beginning, NOT becuase of the engineer, but becuase of the giant spaceship. One aspect of it in particular: "I LOVE THE WAY IT TAKES OF UP INTO THE SKY. It raises itself verticly and while the engineer is breaking down from the black goo, you can still see the ship in the background while its flying off up into the clouds." You can also see the giant shadow it casts on the ground during the intro montage of primordal earth.

"..You can also see the giant shadow it casts on the ground during the intro montage of primordal earth...." I didn't notice the shadow until one of the audio tracks mention it,,,I searched earlier shots of the openning,,but didn't see the shadow again..

Funnily enough it's the flute scene, starting with David switching off the link to Charlize and ending with the lone Earth globe hologram. An awesome few minutes.

David alone on the ship, that's the only Oscar worthy part of the film lol everything before and everything after is anywhere from really stupid to pretty good, but nothing can touch that part of the movie.

I admit my download got cut off right after the computer surgery. But that was my favorite scene. It seemed too real and freaked me out that she was awake.
