What was your favorite scene from Prometheus and why? This can include deleted scenes for those who have the Blu-Ray or who saw them online. Let the community know what scenes you particularly liked from Prometheus! For me, I really liked the scenes that showed the Prometheus ship, it's a magnificent design and I just really liked the effects used for it. Oh, and yes I really liked the Deacon birth scene at the end, I thought it was great. [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheusL_screencap12.jpg[/img] The scenery in the planet shots were breathtaking, and I loved them! [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheus_screencap81.jpg[/img] The kamikaze scene, Janek was my favorite character, and even though the hands up part kind of ruined the effect, I still loved it. [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheus_screencap79.jpg[/img] The derelict chair rising out of the floor just... :) Overall I enjoyed it, and although people sometimes didn't, I certainly know I had! :)

With many peoploe mention the chair raising scen as a favorite I needed to play that part of the movie, With the sound up it is indeed quite a visual treat. It not obnly is huge but the way the Engineer seems almost eager to get settled in and start the mission. The way the floor opens and the chair rises out is very good and worthwhile to point out.. Sometimes a scene seems more fantastic/dramaticc after a few viewings and reading a comment by a poster. I can't remember the last time I actually just watched the movie without stopping and posting. Perhaps only in the theater will I get a Theatrical experience, The DVD player and TV are way to close to the computer. Access to this site is now a problem when watching the nmovie, It drives my wife crazy when viewing the movie I stop.. check the site and write a comment.

The Pilot Chair scene and the Engineer waking up from cryo-sleep after 2,000 years. If your a Space Jockey fan like me then you will LOVE the chair suit up part.

However if you hated the movie then go make another thread somewhere else. I get tired of hearing about how "some people" didnt like the movie because it couldnt live up to your unreasonable expectations anyway!

If I had to pick one favourite scene, it might be the alien ship tumbling on the moon's surface near the end. Each time I see this scene, I have an inner chuckle in the knowledge that many viewers don't notice the barrage of debris that's raining down either side of the ship, and get themselves unnecessarily worked up as to why Shaw & Vickers take shelter in the ship's shadow.
