Well as most of you know I'm currently working on a fan film entitled Olympus, i always wanted to make an alien related film, however new ideas are starting to come to mind. Although I'll keep the "alien" look for the film i might be going on a new direction, the story is that what if the "Greek gods" were actually aliens instead of what we perceived them to be. Now ur thinking sounds a lot like "odyssey of the gods" i know but believe it or not i had this idea before i found out there was even a book about this stuff! Moving on the movie will be heavily inspired by Prometheus the "jockeys" will look a lot more like Greek gods than the engineers. some of you might think the idea is quite silly and that it shouldn't be related to alien in any way, that's the whole point , it is to make something new with a bit of alien that i love :)

Alien SJ as in the first Alien movie? That image would be more fitting to the Indian Pantheon...unless you keep the biosuit idea/concept

Yea ofc i'll have to go with the suit idea, their ship will seem more mechanical than we know as well a the rest of their technology. then again this is one of three major ideas i have, the other is much more alien related and the third is more Prometheus related. i'm writing the script as we speak but the movies title is sure to be the same.

Interesting, as long as you can insert the alien feel to it (as in an alien culture and technology, not related to the Alien franchise I mean) Prometheus shows a bunch steroid filled humanoids dealing with biotech (and with an unhealthy look by the way, at least skin related)...that is not really original nowadays. Vorlons and Shadows from Babylon5 are more original in their concept and execution, and even then they were inspired in a great deal by Tolkyen's works

there is a possibility, that the space jockey will be in a suit, but inside he doesn't look humanoid which i thought would be great for the alien film. its 15 min long, so some of these ideas seem impossible to fit in in that period of time, but i'll give it my best shot. Who knows maybe we'll even see the "actual" jockey for once.
