I was very lucky to get hold of this promotional piece for Prometheus, it is about 6x4 foot large. Sorry if the quality is a bit dodgy but the lighting isn't very good in my bedroom and the angles aren't that good either as there is literally 2 feet space between my bed and the wall.

MemberOvomorphSep-16-2012 8:09 PMHi Gord, welcome back to the forum. As far as I know you cannot upload pics straight to the forum at this point, but have to use external sites and then embed their URL strings using the tools in the top bar of the message dialog box. Now, I'm not sure how well all that works when logging in from a mobile device since I haven't used the site that way myself yet.
I'm rather curious what you have to show us!

MemberOvomorphSep-16-2012 8:20 PM...or, you could email the pics (if not in huge in numbers and size) to info@Prometheus-Movie.com and ask if a member of staff would be so kind to upload them on your behalf?

MemberNeomorphSep-16-2012 8:28 PMHello. I'm no expert with this type of thing but i'll give it a go. I don't think you can upload the pic straight from your phone to this site. I had to sign up to an online picture library 'Flickr'. You can also use 'Photobucket', It's free. Then:
1) Send the pic on your phone to your desktop picture library, via bluetooth or plug in devise and save as a jpeg (it should do that automatically though)
2) Go to your online library and transfer the pic from your desktop library to the online library. Resize it to the correct dimentions if required.
3) Right click on the picture and click on properties, then highlight the entire URL (http//blah blah blah). Right click on the highlighted address and select copy.
4) Come to this site, go to the thread that you want to paste it to....Then Paste it in your reply box. Before you click 'ADD REPLY' type So it looks something like this:

Hope it helps! If not there are other folks on here who are helpfull.
The poster was good though!

MemberOvomorphSep-16-2012 8:36 PMThe last shot was just for scale purposes so you can get an idea for how big it is.

MemberOvomorphSep-16-2012 8:38 PMI forgot to say its a stand, not a poster, and I own it :-)

AdminEngineerSep-17-2012 9:03 AMVery, very cool! I've added the images in place of your initial post Engineer Prototype - Model GAJ84, since you got the images to work. :)

MemberOvomorphSep-17-2012 9:24 AMWow! That's a piece that I've never seen before. And if you know anything about me or my collection you know that's a big deal.
I have the 10 foot by 8 foot US standee and the 6 foot by 5 foot IMAX/Bus Shelter poster but I do not have this. I'd rather have yours than the 10 foot standee as it has the same damn image all the promo items from the US had.
I assume you live across the pond from us yanks?

MemberOvomorphSep-17-2012 9:56 AMThanks for the comments guys.
@Engineering, yes I live across the pond, jolly old England.
I'm starting up a collection myself but its only comprising of the stand, a poster, a couple of magazines with Prometheus articles in, and 2 t-shirts, one if which is a promo not available in shops. To be honest i'm a bit disappointed at the lack or Prometheus merch, not much available until after the bluray/dvd release.
