MemberOvomorphJune 09, 2012I could not point to any part of the movie as scary or tense as in the kind you find in a typical horror movie (in Alien or Aliens for example). Some had potential but went by incredibly fast or went nowhere. I enjoyed the movie BTW and will see it again, but doubt it can be categorized as scary at all. I did not feel that sense of desperation clearly present in scary movies, the kind that would tend to motivate characters understandably. Even Shaw's supposedly strong beliefs in religion are not patently felt I feel, it's like it lacked something, you now, that dramatic punch I guess (whatever that means). It is a pure, and excellent sci-fi that's for sure.
