Prometheus ideas and upcoming fan film

Hello, OK I'm going to start off by saying that I'm new here and i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but anyways really hyped up for Prometheus , can't wait till its released in theaters! Anyways so I'm huge fan of the alien universe and always wanted to make a non-profit "fan" film for fun. and i had a couple of ideas about it for a while now, and after realizing that Ridley will doing something original with this film i thought hey why not go original too. So my film will obviously take place in the alien universe but now comes the hard part, the story, pretty much we've seen the alien and what it was about and now we take a look at the space jockey and see what they are about. the only thing left i thought is to either make an alien prequel and describe how they were created (although i don't know how that will happen as from what i heard the space jokey in ALIEN died hundreds if not thousands of years ago) meaning i would have to show the movie from the space jockeys point of view and not humans since humans didn't have space ships back then and i wouldn't want to do that. The other idea is to maybe explore a bit more on the space jockey and if there are more of them spread across the galaxy (but then again Prometheus most likely will show us the last surviving engineer) so a bit of a tight situation there, the third idea is to just go with something completely new within the universe, of course all of the creature & monster designs will be original since we have seen too much of the alien and it inst as frightening anymore. anyways sorry for the long post, and i would love to know any of your ideas towards this.
