Did you see the explosion in new Dutch TV Spot? I think it has something to do with the prologue of the beginning of time ...

Maybe something we have yet to see? Maybe its why in Alien and Aliens we dont hear nothing about LV223 as its not there anymore? Unless again like the leaked screeing review this is when the Engineers tried to wipe us out before?

Could be a sunrise... The: "Dawn OF A New Age" shot. Or as in Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey@ "The Dawn Of Man" shot... This builds upon the idea of a 'Grand Begining' sets the tone forwhat is to come: the 'Grand Finale' and pay-off at the end of the film that the yhemes it touches om have a profound realisation that we will all come to understand much more clearly once we have taken-in and observd every possible visual variable upon the screen - whether subtle or un-subtle.

@ BigDave Maybe something I we have yet to see? If Ridley insurance keeps us a couple of surprises in this epic movie. Maybe its in Alien and Aliens why we dont hear nothing as LV223 About its not there anymore? Is it Joke? This gas planet LV223 has 3 moons and could be any of them (maybe bigger) UNLESS again like the leaked screeing this is when to review the Engineers tried to wipe us out before? Well, I doubt that the screening of the heads of banana is real, but a nuclear explosion would be part of the theories of ancient astronauts and closely related to Sodom and Gomorrah, the wrath of God and things like that... @Id Rather Be Eatin Something Else Yeah, undoubtedly Prometheus is very influenced by that masterpiece of Kubrick, and the explosion could be: An epic beginning of the dawn of man or somewhat related to the end of the movie (although I doubt it)

@Outlander the Juggernaut does not explode on impact with the ground, in fact begins to roll like a donut LOL , but who knows... @Syphonox would be a detail on the theories of ancient astronauts... and thanks @abordoli

It's just the very first frame of the impact of the Prometheus against the juggernaut, here it is just after a fraction of a second. It's in the IMAX trailer, nothing new. Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

I think this is when Prometheus collides with Juggernaut. Prometheus craft has nuclear-powered engines, so there you go...
