So you all probably have seen the big face on the posters and such... is it just me or does this face bare a huge resemblance to Patrick Wilson? I know we're all wondering his role in this film... use your imaginations a little. I'd like to read your thoughts. ....And Why Don't you Freeze Him?!

I just tried some different photos of Patrick in Photoshop using grayscale, and then contrast I found the outcome is uncanny. I could post the photos, but I'd rather you all go down this path on your own. After all, this may not be accurate. Parker had it right.

Yeah, I'm thinking of his face in 'Watchmen' - quite handsome (from my blokey point of view y'know, lol). God, world's away from his character in 'Hard Candy' eh?

He should be shaw's father in flashbacks ...but who knows .. Biomechanic had a theory about him being the "old" man aboard .

IMDB recently changed his listing from shaws father to coccoon man back to shaws father. He stated early on his role was small but had some importance. The Weyland timeline does mention the ablity to bring back a dead persons memory - or something along that line. Link them if you so choose.

Or perhaps the head hasnt always been there.....perhaps it only forms when the adventure party turn up and the living ship clocks one of them like....Patrick Wilson.

Love it. I have seen some HD versions of the big head, and I swear that I can see an eyeball inside those dark sockets. Gives the punishment of the Prometheus character a whole different perspective doesn't it?

I still stand by my idea. I love your ideas, except for the one about it being Weyland. Patrick just has this face that stands out and matches.
