AdminEngineerAug-22-2024 7:56 AMA new rumor has been discovered on Reddit claiming an Alien: Isolation VR remaster and sequel are on the way! According to the leak, an ex-Creative Assembly developer revealed the company is planning a VR remaster of the original and a sequel, slated for an announcement this October (hypothesized).
The remaster is expected to drop in 2025 and the sequel is reportedly aiming for a 2026 release date.
The Alien: Isolation sequel is said to continue Amanda Ripley's journey and will ignore the events explored in Alien: Blackout. Here's a screenshot of the claims:
Do we buy it? I'd be all for it, personally and now would be the perfect time to announce such a thing given Alien: Romulus' popularity... But we don't have any other major sources confirming the rumor so until we do, I suggest we don't get tol excited.
