Meet Regina from Alien Resurrection

Meet Regina from Alien Resurrection

The proper scientific name (very befitting) for the Queen Alien is cited below taken from the Alien Resurrection novelization. I'd like to add that the novel wasn't published until 2015 (18 years after the film), written by A.C. Crispin before she died (1950-2013).

A.C. Crispin wrote 24 novels, including tie-in stories for Star Trek, Star Wars, V and Pirates of the Carribean.

“Like a nightmare shadow, Regina horribilis – the Queen Alien – stepped into the light just enough to be seen.”

Alien Resurrection novelization, page 53.

(Engineer vs. Queen in the Dark Horse comic, above)

And Regina knows how to read English, below.

"The name on one of the observers garment read Perez. The names on the other two read “Gediman” and “Wren.” The sign over the mechanism that opened the door they had entered through read, (capitalized) “you must summon the guard on duty before the door will be opened.”

Alien Resurrection novelization page 55.

By the way, the novel is bodacious.

Great topic once again - upvoted! I did not know that was the name given to her. Love that I keep learning new things this many years onward!

Regina is the Latin for queen. Aliens is the Annus horribilis of the Alien universe.

"He survived, he’s now in Disneyland in Orlando, and no way am I going back there. How did he end up in Disneyland? I saw him in Disneyland, Jesus Christ!"

Excellent daliens, I didn't know the Latin reference and I thought this may mean something to someone. Thank you for deciphering.

I tripped and fell backwards on something sharp. I now have Annus horribilis due to my injury. That is so great.

Thank you Chris. I do this for all of you....I'm really not that obsessed with the topic. Ha.

If I start a band IRaptus, I think we have found a name. My next step to learn the flute.

I'm not kissing David though.

Ha ha ha! That flute scene will probably create a lot of memes and silly things. I wonder if they thought about that when they made it? LMAO!
