I think indeed it would be interesting to find out the final pieces of the Puzzle that turns our Evolution of the Xeno-Strain to what we see in the 1979 ALIEN movie.

Ridley Scott has stated that we are not quite their yet...

We have however seen the result of a Bio-Mechanical Suited Engineer Chest Buster, which gave us the Deacon which was more flesh like much like the Neo-morph, and yet the Human Chest Busted Xenomorphs in Alien Covenant are more Bio-Mechanical but not quite their YET..

So it will be interesting to see what Final Piece is required to turn Davids Creations from Alien Covenant into the more Mechanical Looking monstrosity that we saw in ALIEN

Also indeed it would be interesting to find out what layers of Creation their are and surely there has to be at least ONE maybe more layers above our Engineers...

Ridley Scott had teased us that the Engineers are not GOD's... and that we have yet to meet the BIG GUY so maybe he has something planned for us down the line?

Riley Scott has said that BigDave and I'm sure we can expect something on the 3rd party (BIG GUY) he keeps referring to. We can still have a lot of mystery and still get a look at the origins of the mutagen and xenomorph.

The incoming party he appears to allure to being returning Engineers to a Devastated Planet 4, but i am not 100% convinced the General Fanbase is excited to see more on the Engineers, it appears a lot are disappointed with the AI and David route too.

I do think FOX/RS may have to introduce us to another party who are pulling the strings, and i think they would have to make these guys more Alien or have a very sinister Agenda.

BigDave - I have the feeling that the bigguy will look like the original unused monster concept.

When RS made the where is the Big Guy comment, it was in regards to the Prometheus Sequel... just prior to announcing AC.. at this time he announced the next movie was Alien: Paradise lost.

He mentioned that if the Engineers are the precursors to Mankind, then what made Worlds Habitable for the Engineers to do that (Seed Worlds) this is when he then asked... where is the Big Guy?

In the same interview/comments, he mentions about how even Some Scientists inc Stephen Hawkings Question whether the Big Bang was a Accident.

so RS is pondering that there is something of someone above the Engineers, and that there is a Plan behind the Creation of Galaxies and Worlds and that its not quite some random Natural Event.

I am not sure RS will be introducing us to a Magical kind of Divine Figure, it will appear there is a Hierarchy of Creation and at the Top there would be something/someone or some Race who are extremely Ancient and Powerful

It will be interesting to see if RS still has this vision and if he wishes to explore it. I did make a Topic many years ago well 3-4 i think? Regarding who the MAIN Player at the Top of the Creation Chain is/are.

I proposed a number of options, from more Humanoid beings, to more Alien looking Race, to a Divine Being or Power, to even a Machine.

So the whole Creation Aspect as far as the Great Creator be that a GOD, or what ever is something very interesting and something that i wonder if RS will cover down the line... it does not have to a GOD as per say... their are many Creation Origins Mythos, which include the Cosmic Egg, even a Giant Turtle etc... so there are a number of things that could be the Whole Starting Point for Creation and it would be interesting to see what RS views and takes on this are and which ever route he chooses, it would be interesting to see his interpretation he wishes to show us.
