'Return of the little wormy dude! After our work on Alien:Covenant, @dane_hallett_art and I collaborated on a couple of things for the marketing. First an ambitious animated series of fully rendered frames of the egg, then a series of three slideshows/carousels of digital matte paintings depicting tiny but nasty denizens of the planet. Of those Dane and I tackled one each ourselves and collaborated on the last. Dane's shown his wheat field series. And here's my forest series. The forest turned out to be pretty ambitious but anyway it's a progression zooming in from the forest environment we see in the film to the macro level and little wormy Gigeresque dude. ___ the animation that was added wasn't quite what we intended or suggested, so here are just the still images. With some hidden critters and stuff along the way!'
