Alien:Covenant, special edition.

I have purchased the Alien: Covenant special edition. I'm totally wrapped too. I decided to view the extended scenes featured on the DVD. One particular extended scene struck me as very interesting. The Weyland/David 8 conversation in the white room that was at the start of the feature film. Peter Weyland asked David 8 to explain the meaning of the song he played on the piano( entry of the Gods into Valhalla).

Peter Weyland asked David 8 to explain the meaning of the song he played on the piano( entry of the Gods into Valhalla). David explained to Peter, that the Gods had been discovered as false God and were unworthy of their status. It was almost as if he knew straight away that he was better and more capable than his human creators.
