Shedding Some Light on David's Lab

Thanks Kethol, love Adam Savage's set videos. I'm jealous and envious yet I love seeing all the beautiful sets. However, the more I see behind the scenes, the more convinced I am that the EDITING made A:C so much worse than the grand movie it should've been, and that the "SUITS" were greatly involved in trying to trim it into a 2hour time slot for the $$$. A mistake all the way round, and a lesson: Just because you have $$$ doesn't make you worth anything.

That was a beautiful segment. Ridley has such an eye for detail. David's lab is gorgeous, I want to walk around in it lol

I want to re-decorate my house like this. I thought I had acquired the art for most of the drawings that have been posted online, but in this video I see that there is twice as much art on the set.

Fox needs to publish a book of ALL David's art!

Here are a few snapshots from the recent videos.

Musical Instruments.

These images are astounding, could not get this from movie. The advent video helps explain a lot and makes his lab make so much more sense. David in general makes more sense and I  think clarifies him creating vs recreating. I think it's  much clearer for me that he's experimenting with ancient tech, exploring ancient human civilizations, and generally losing his mind. I feel like we're getting a parallel story that explains some or most of the origins while mainly being about this AI dilemma and the beginnings of corporate/weyland yutani direction, then will eventually all fit together nicely. The next movie does seem set up to tie things together, what I mean is that I think they will explore davids inspiration, the Engineers and their wolves....

Ridley has said the next one being written will be about the colony on Origai 6 evolving and forming a new world, the colony disintegrating, religion, and the Engineers arriving back to planet 4 from Covenant to find it decimated. Hopefully we will get more background on the Engineers and the next stage of David's evolution.

Amazing set of images Kethol. Thank you for every one and especially the enhanced images. The soup is great...what is he doing with that?

No idea. He has to have found some way of neutralizing the acid blood in order to work with his specimens, so perhaps this is some concoction that does that.

I will have to try and debate this when i feel i have more Energy/Motivation...  so then i can do discussions some justice, but the whole Davids Lab and all the detail is amazing, and i am sure will be a great resource for a lot of discussion.

Debate? These are just images from David's lab. Not much to debate. Unless you disagree about the caviar and seafood soup :)
