Lambert death was raped like in AC shower scene?

I like to think Lambert was raped- it just makes the Alien seem more sadistic and scary. I also like that it was ambiguous enough to wonder and debate about it.

 I don't think the whole rape thing is necessary, to me, it just seemed like a dominant creature toying with it's prey.

Bit like when cats bat mice around for ages, before finally killing it and walking away.

Many fans wonder whether or not Lambert was in fact "raped" by the Xenomorph, but that outcome was never shown, nor confirmed - only implied. Upon discovering Lambert's remains, Ripley noticed Lambert was partially undressed as well, but her death was quick, suggesting the Alien may have derobed her after she died. Lambert's actual cause of death was insinuated to be a heart attack brought on by the sheer terror she experienced when faced with the Xenomorph up close. The tail reaching under Lambert was likely the Xenomorph using it to bring her closer for inspection before she died.

For me the most disturbing part about Lambert’s death was not actually seeing what happened, but hearing how Lambert’s scream just suddenly stopped. That moment of Lambert’s voice going suddenly silent, I thought was a very chilling touch and was suggestive of more than rape, and something too horrific to imagine. It is moments like that, that put more of an edge on a scene than purely graphic gore imo.

Lambert appers hanging without pants and shoes with blood running and falling from her toes. It is logical that the scene was never included due extremely violent and bloody and it was as unpleasant as the shower scene on AC because the Xeno tail touch with the same sexual instinct it is connected with Lambert death, unfortunetly It does not show how she Upworth (Callie Hernandez) was killed.

The alien had its way with her sexually, you can hear it over the intercom as rips is sprinting along the corridor from the bridge, a sound like a bicycle tyre pump being operated fast, then lambert screams, thats what i make of it.

It may not be logical for the Xeno to rape a victim, but it ties in a bit with the rape theme of the face hugger. Besides, it seems more sinister that it raped simply because it could.

When I read the original Alien novel, the Alien used it's tail to paralyze it's victim (remember the Queen in Aliens fighting Ripley using its tail to attack her).  In the novel, when Ripley runs to Parker and Lambert, and arrives to the landing dock area where they were attack, she sees the Alien taking and squeezing both victims into the air vents.

Remember that shot of the tail going under Lambert is actually the scene when it goes under Brett.  So Brett was supposed to get raped lol.

Yes, that was originally a Brett scene. If it was indeed a rape, involving Brett may have caused all kinds of backlash in 1979 due to gender.

This may cause some backlash, but rape is more about power than sex. This would make the Xeno a sadistic beast indeed.

Someone mentioned cats playing with prey before killing it. For domestic cats, that is more of a buried instinct- they don't know what to do so they toy with the prey. Most wild cats don't mess around- they go for the kill.

There are, of course, many sexual connotations in Alien (Giger etc) but the tail goes into the back of Brett, as he is almost hypnotised by the alien, and draws him nearer. The shower scene is of course sexual in nature and the tail "rises to the occasion" but gives no other meaning. I think I would have liked a more prolonged scene where the tail goes up behind them, impales them both and draws them towards the protomorph.

I believe the intent on the part of RS is in fact to make us believe that the xeno is doing something to lambert. yes the scene originally is brett, but RS has made the decision to put it as part of lamberts death for a reason. to make us think about what is happening after the tail rises between her legs. plus the noises the xeno makes before she screams. I believe RS intended to give the impression she is being violated

Eventually, it is sort of difficult to prove since we didn’t see it but it was more like implied. It is left to the imagination (I guess) about what happened which makes it scarier I think. To me it is a good guess to say that something very nasty happened.

The only information I could find was that of H. R. Gigers other Alien design - Species. There was a rape scene in that film with the Species' barbed tail going in and out of the main protagonists mouth. Oral rape. However, I think Alien has been left with alot of ambiguity. More information is coming out all the time, now we know Lambert was a Trans person. Another theory could be the alien was unsure how to handle this person so was inquisitive? Just like how the Alien was inquisitive to some AIs. Like Call in Resurrection.

Having thought about it some more, I don’t believe the Alien would be prioritising experimentation, when it has been described as having vast amounts of intellect. It must have known the remainder crew were trying to leave so it’s priority would be to feed and/or prepare the food sauce.
