Thanks all for sharing, and thanks for reminding me that it's not a CHURCH, but a CASTLE, that was at the end of that street in Gruyeres...and a wonderful one with a fantastic view.

Part of a European rail trip I went on a few years ago took us to the Gruyeres cheese factory, with a stop off in the village. I had no idea the museum was there, but it was closed!!! We only had a stop for an hour from 10:00 to 11:00 and the museum/bar didn't open until 12:00 noon. Devastated, but I took pics anyway.
