Hey there.

I dont know if its already commonly known around here, but if you are looking for a series that sometimes gives you an Alien vibe you should watch The Expanse

Ofcourse it is in no way related or has any Xeno creatures, but I like to think of the ambience and design of the cities and ships as well as storywise the society, industrial/military factions and stellar ressource mining and so on to be a pretty close display of what our solar system might have looked like in the W-Y universe, shortly before they started reaching out for interstellar colonization and ressources.

I am currently only mid of season1, and I hope I am not recommending any references unworthy of Alien, if the series turns to something Laserswordish/Phasersonstunish ;)

cabin flutist yacob wagner - I'm a big fan of the series. I LOVE IT. Beautiful space battles, awesome ships, brilliant characters, talented actors, etc. It is based on the novel series by James S. A. Corey, the pen name of authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. First novel: Leviathan Wakes:

I've seen both of the two seasons. I hope it's not a big problem but xenocreatures are coming... :)
