Was the "Scorpion Tail" Ship Originally Intended to Dock with the Pebble/Noobernaut Vessel that was featured in Prometheus?

I've made a graphic to illustrate the idea.  I often wonder if some of the early concepts regarding "Prometheus II/Covenant" included more about The Engineers and their world, but was abandoned?

I'll try to find a way to give this idea of yours a 'nod' of acknowledgement in ALIEN: Manticore, as I LIKE how you think!!
Also gonna list you in the Dedications :)

IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Thanks for that; the ships do fit together like a couple of puzzle pieces. I wasn’t aware of your fan fiction, and it sounds pretty interesting (hello from a fellow Canadian, by the way). I think that there is so much rich territory that can be explored in the Alien Universe.

Aside from the first two movies, it seems that each movie offering exists in its own island Universe. I think that it’s difficult for even the most talented and recognizable producers /directors to create the movie that they really want. So many compromises have to be made, and there are many stakeholders. Fan fiction doesn’t suffer from these limitations.

One particularly dark undercurrent that does run through the entire series is that humans are the real antagonist and are incredibly dangerous. The Aliens themselves are much like robots; they react to a stimulus and kill it. They’re more interesting than guns, knives or bombs, but the end result is much the same (ironically, the ampoules filled with the mutagen are in fact, bombs).

Both Humans and The Engineers suffer from the same problem; their creations are a serious risk to their very existence. In the case of The Engineers, Humans are a deadly threat to them, just as the Androids are a deadly threat to Humans.

When you’re God, morality is irrelevant. Nobody else is qualified to judge you. You have the final word, and there are no consequences (at least none that you care about). Nor do you care about consequences when you’re a machine and expendable. Davis has a foothold in both of those worlds. "Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"… how chilling is it that any of the intelligent species in the films could utter that.

I  missed this TOPIC.

I find the Evidence Submitted Compelling to say the Least and SURE i cant see why it could not have been made to DOCK with the Saucer/Pebble Ship.

Nice Catch ;)
