The Covenant

So, after an expedition that followed the steps of the titan Prometheus, in his attempt to give humans the power of the gods, we have a Covenant before us. Giving the importance of the movie's title to the story, I wonder:

Did we see a Covenant being made? Did we see a Covenant being broken? What was it about? There was any Covenant after all? 

"He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them. [...] Remember His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations."
