An interesting look at the practical effects in Alien Covenant by Adam Savage. Really nice to see the big sets, the practical effects and the advancement of 3d printing in making props but not quite fond though of using the practical effects only as a platform for the CGI.

Saw it the other day, nice insight into the use of 3D Printing and can you imagine how far this Technology would evolve in 20 years time.

The only effect I thought they wussed out on was when the woman's head got bit off. They shouldn't have cut away and we should of seen the head come completely off and either land in the water or have the alien push it in the water. Maybe pick it up or something. The eating of the body was good.
