I will start. As compelling and charismatic as David is, I would go along with Data since he always strives to be human and usually makes the best choices when it comes to ethical matters.

I could imagine Data saying to David, - "You mention Lawrence of Arabia, a fictional character. I fail to see its practical application in this matter."
