Expectations and point of view of film

Ok so i went to see the film today and enjoyed it.

I would, however, like to try and soften the blow and advise people not to get expectations up with the film.

First off I won't put spoilers but maybe some hints as such.

The film starts off slow so dont expect any intense action. However, the film does pick up pace rather fast once they hit the planet.

Now don't expect too many answers from this film and expect a lot more questions when you leave.

The aliens themselves are good , the neomorphs for me were just amazing way better than the xenomorph, they are more vicious and dangerous.

I came out from the film a little underwhelmed but I got what I wanted from it and i hope the next in the series gives us more answers and more introduction to the engineers we know and not the ones we see in the film as from what I picked up on, these were not the true engineers but this is mu opinion.

On a plus I got a nice poster free after the film finished :) i think i attached an image of it :)

It was alright. I really liked the first (prometheus) half, but the second (alien) was really weak. They didnt answer any of the questions Prometheus asked but at least we know what happened to Shaw, she was mentioned more than I thought she was gonna be. Alien designs were the best in the series, they were very creepy but I dont know why they bothered with practical suits on set. Everything was CG. David was the highlight. Its just, there was no engaging action sequence in the second half, at least I wasnt entertained, so the movie ended on a low note, very underwhelming.

And I didnt find it scary or intense at all. Most effective one was the back burster scene but trailers spoiled it way too much. Plus not much gore, it was just cg blood everywhere. I expected much more intense scenes. Xeno was not needed, Neomorphs were just too good, I wanted more of them but they were surprisingly not used much. But very scary and haunting, especially adults. What I liked the most about the movie was the couples dynamic. It worked and I believed they cared about eachother. All of the characters are very real, and not dumb goofy scientists.

But still a nicely made movie, good performances, nice score, great visuals. But I like Prometheus better.

Oh, and I CAN'T wait to get a NECA neomorph.

Yea agree on a lot of what you said and maybe the blu-ray/4k release will have extra stuff in it.

I just hope we get more of a story about the engineers in future releases.
