The importance of your work and why it's so appreciated by me is that ALIEN: Manticore is Part 1 of a Trilogy, and Part 2 sees Manticore arriving at Paradise and your pics allow me to have a very solid grasp of what they will find there.

Or maybe also the Pit where the Engineer Elder Head Statues are located?

I wonder if the Buddha style Offering Statues (A) hold some significance to what this Pit/Docking Bay is for.

The pit could be for sacrifices, or testing new creations. 

The shot could be a massive red herring, but what intrigues me is that there are no bodies so what caused thousands of people to accumulate there and get ,seemingly, nuked?

there must be some kind of flashback that shows what happened. It could be the engineers did it to some other race they created for fun?

IMO - It appears to be a docking station for the 'Elder' Engineer ship from the opening sequence in Prometheus?

That is an excellent catch Davefried81. I was referring to the ship shown in the beginning of Prometheus in the topic opener above and didn't even think of these Engineer elders.

Are these Engineer elders what the heads in the Paradise temple represent?

Well the Empire Magazine Scans seem to confirm that Hole/Pit is actually a Hanger like in Prometheus.

The Head Statues could still be part of this.. they certainly dont fit the whole Cathedral unless its the very very top due to this scale.

I have roughly estimated the City and its Pretty Big, the Cathedral and Courtyard is Huge.

This is based on the Hanger being the same size as that in Prometheus (430M Approx).

So this means the Cathedral is bigger than the Temple Mound in Prometheus which was nearly 710M

Which means the Total Height of the Cathedral including the Gold Device is about 475M approx... Thats Twice the size of the Temple Mound in Prometheus.

So indeed the Cathedral is truly epic in Size.

Well, Ridley Scott said they represented a "superior people." He was likely hinting towards the hierarchy (Gods vs. creation). The apostles was one good example given by folks on this forum. Therefore the Engineers are only servants to a higher power.

That is so awesome BigDave. That's right, we got dimensions on the LV-223 pyramids. Great analysis.

The complex and courtyard is huge like Vatican city with the surrounding population up against it with smaller buildings. The complex on Paradise (if that is the planet) is huge especially the courtyard and cathedral. Huge.

K-Theory, I believe you are correct. Ridley Scott has clarified that the Engineers answer to someone else.

The apostles  was what Ridley Scott referred to them as, and indeed there is a Higher Power a Hierarchy.

We dont know how many levels go above the Engineers, and in what way the Hierarchy is.

Is it a Higher Cast but in the same image like God is to the Angels?  

Is it more like the Greek Gods Hierarchy and so Titans vs Olympians? (which the Annunaki and Igigi can fit into).

Is it like Ancient Egypt where we have the Pharaohs over the rest of the Population?

Or like many Ancient Tribes (or some still on Earth) where the Elders of the Tribe are the rulers?

Those Heads in the Hall of Heads area are indeed most likely above those beings on Paradise, but are they above the Engineers or just Elder kind of Engineers?

This image allowed me to make the educated guess, i simply worked out how much wider the Hanger was to the dimensions of the Juggernaught and X this difference by 300M to give me 430M diameter

With this i could then roughly measure the differences of the Courtyard and Cathedral compared to the diameter of the Hanger and X the difference by 430M
