Discussing whether or not an artificial person is capable of sexual attraction is a fine debate, granted the title is a bit much, but let's not get into dark territory here. I think there's probably a discussion to be had on sex synths in Alien films, even though it's never been touched on in the films (and not one that shouts "gayest moments" in all caps).  With Real Dolls catering to lonely souls, one could imagine a synthetic sex partner that could be turned on and off as required would help with the popularity of androids with consumers.  On the other hand, androids in these films seem extraordinarily exclusive and likely expensive.

So David is neat, intelligent and cares about his personal appearance. I don't see what is gay about that. I am pretty sure he would have a witty and scathing response if asked the question.

Yes, I agree that David comes across as slightly whoopsie, but that's been made up for by the rather butch couple in A:C, so I'm a happy bunny.

Then make a point that can actually be discussed instead of posting pictures of David colouring his hair and being neat and generally indulging in lazy stereotypes.

Back to the sex synth/Sex Doll angle. Is there a reason why these synths couldn’t be programmed to respond accordingly to one’s orientation based on a need/tactic as a persuasive measure to gain information, plans etc?

If they can make droids as realistic as the ones we see in the films, I can't imagine there would be any limitations other than the ones the creators morally impose, or are legally required.

Since they don't have behavioural inhibitors until the mid 22nd century it would seem the technology got ahead of the law somehow.
