Shaw in trailer? Which creature do we see fully grown?

I happed upon this article, http://www.slashfilm.com/alien-covenant-trailer-breakdown-2/?utm_source=zergnet.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=zergnet_1510045, while browsing zergnet.com.
This is a breakdown of the trailer by one of the people who apparently got to visit the set of Alien Covenant. It is a pretty standard look (compared to what we have all done and seen I'd say) at it, but there were a couple of interesting things.
First, there was their opinion on this shot in the trailer:
"It’s not clear who this mysterious, cloaked figure is standing in the middle of the wheat field is supposed to be. It could be a member of the Covenant crew. Or, if you’ll allow some irresponsible spitballing inspired by nothing beyond my own penchant for jumping to conclusions, it could be our first look at Elizabeth Shaw, who has perhaps gone full Obi-Wan during her time on this planet."
I am not sure on the height an build of the character in the cloak (seems more David size I guess), but it being Shaw is a very interesting idea that I did not think about. I previously put forth a theory that Shaw might be found in cry sleep or something and have a small role helping out the Covenant crew in the late second act/third act before dying, so maybe it is still something similar to that, except she is actually evolved into more of a badass. So instead of being killed off or dragged along helplessly by David, she is an active participant/force on the planet in the ten years since Prometheus and her last shabang is trying to help the Covenant crew.
The other thing is that the author of the article continually said that the big ol'beasty that we see at the end of the trailer and for a moment in David's workshop, is the fully grown version of the Neomorph. Was this just a mistake? Since they were on set, I would think they know the proper terminology for the creatures. It's just that the physiology of the young Neomorph to what has been deemed at the Protomorph is just too different. I can't see it getting from Neomorph to the Protomorph. I still think it might maybe possibly be the case considering that they were on set.
