Proof Blade Runner and Alien co-exist in the same universe.

@ Ati,  I agree. A few lines of dialogue takes care of any conflicts regarding time lines. I think it would be something about FTL travel being discovered far earlier, but due to some deaths of crew members in early missions everthing was classified for some years, which could then explain the creation of the Nexus-6 replicants being different from Andriods to find out what the FTL travel did to the human body to cause the deaths etc. And androids may not be organic enough to provide any helpful info.

There is also the small matter of Blade Runner not being Fox's IP.

I always wondered if Blade Runner was a part of the Alien series.

Yeah, Blade Runner has the potential to be seen as sort of a "Meanwhile, back on Earth" aspect of the greater universe.

I believe Ripley 8 returned to Earth in that movie, and it was a wasteland.

Man am I tempted to run with the idea of a semi-crossing of the two, it really WORKS with some established things in my storyline!

Avp is not the same universe as Alien franchise and Blade Runner and Alien are NOT same universe regardless how much you want it to be that way no matter how many connections you think you're making, you're being fooled by Easter Eggs left by an  Easter Hare, Juan.

Always fun watching new generation coming with their theories decades later only to be totally debunked.
